Mike is well respected within the civil construction sector both in Hawke’s Bay and across New Zealand.
He’s been in the industry for over 20 years and has a Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil). He has vast technical experience managing small, large and complex civil projects, previously working with one of New Zealand’s largest Civil Engineering companies.
Mike is highly proficient at managing contract conformance and developing strong relationships with clients and all stakeholder parties.
Mike likes to get involved at the very early stages of a project, when it’s just an idea and he can bring the vision to reality.

Bailey has worked in the forestry and civil construction industry for over 15 years. She started out as Contracts Manager of her family bulk earthworks business becoming the Managing Director until the business was sold.
Bailey uses her many years of experience of running an SME civil construction company to assist in the running of SCL Civil Works. She focuses on overall business management ensuring that systems and processes are in place and used for good business management across all the business activities.
Alongside her SCL Civil work she is the President of Civil Contractors New Zealand (CCNZ) and has spent many years involved in working with the industry body to support civil contractors across NZ.

• NZ Certificate in Engineering (Mechanical and Production)
• Basic Engineering Trade Skills
• Site Safe Civil Passport, STMS L1, Certificate of Proficiency Nuclear Density Gauge.
Mike is our practised, professional and personable project manager.
With over two decades of experience, Mike’s knowledge and understanding of the whole construction process is thorough, enabling him to lead projects efficiently, and effectively.
Michael uses his strong communication, programming, and technical skills to maintain productive, safe and quality sites, demonstrating his ability to process the separate needs and requirements of multiple stakeholders.
His skillset is wide, and his natural leadership and communication style makes him a fantastic and valuable team player.

Quentin brings almost 40 years of civil experience working in all aspects of civil works including earthworks, three water construction, pavements and surfacing.
His projects have involved both operational and project management experience in the civil and amenities fields with a proven track record in contract management.
He is a motivated and effective team leader with proven management skills, along with strong leadership abilities with practical experience to support others.
