The project includes the supply and installation of a new network of 355 PE pipe work with final connection to new treatment plants, connection to existing NCC water network, concrete foundation work for new headworks, installation of new headworks, electrical works, earthworks, pavement construction and all testing of these components.
Installation of 355PE included:
• Supply and welding of the new pipeline
• Connection of components to the new line including valves, hydrants and treatment plants
• Installation to a high tolerance to allow connection of treatment plants after pipe installation
• Chlorination and Pressure testing to NCC standards.
Installation of new headworks included:
• Construction of new concrete foundations for new headworks to align with newly drilled bore and proposed treatment plants
• Supply and Installation all pipework, valves, and fittings, instrumentation, water sampling box, junction boxes, pipe supports and the like
• Installation of the two pumps to the wells including installation and wiring
• Commissioning and testing. Pavement construction of two treatment plant compounds Excavation to subgrades Subbase and basecourse construction Concrete kerbing Asphalt surfacing.
